5.0 out of 5 stars The Vietnam Vets war shared readers, thank you. Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2023
Mr. Brown, I think your closing note hit on the head. As the Vietnam Vets waited too many years to finally being acknowledged of theirs services. Yes, I was appalled by my generation to take their anger out on the Vets. I thank all Vets who have served for their country and for each other. Mr. Brown thank you for the stories of vets that have finally told their story. Thank you.
5.0 out of 5 stars A story by the veteran of different persons! Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2020
This book is more of a history of the jobs of the servicemen who were there! This book is not a scholar’s view point of the Vietnam war, but the story of those that were there on the front line. The telling of this story shows the stupidity of those that were in charge of the planning to win this war. Each person of the book had a different viewpoint. These persons in the book were telling their story not there distrust of their superiors. But as the reader reviews each persons account of their time and place in this war it is apparent that this war was missed managed.
It was important to me to learn how these people tried to put their lives back together and move on. It is a shame that the chemical used to defoliate the jungle was so harmful to humans.
I look forward to reading the next book!
5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone should read Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2020
The stories told by these Heroes of the Vietnam War are something everyone should read. My stepfather is a Vietnam Vet who flew helicopters with the 191st Assult Helicopter Company “Boomerangs and Bounty Hunters”. He’s told me some stories and has shared some of his pictures with me from his 3 tours in Vietnam III core. I can relate with a lot of these stories from other vets through the stories my stepfather has told me. These men and women went through hell and kept things in that have caused them much pain and suffering long after the war was over. Please remember to thank every vet for their service and especially thank the vets of the Vietnam War and welcome them home
5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Stars for another great compilation of stories from Vietnam veterans Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2019
Bill Brown continues to honor us all by letting the veteran in his own words tell his story. Everybody has a story and it takes courage to put it down on paper and share it with the world. Bill Brown continues to immortalize veterans and their friends, whose names are now on “The Wall”, by putting their stories to print. He should do a 3rd book, he is onto something very special, lest America forgets who our Vietnam vets are. I highly recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Real stories from real heroes Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2018
Be sure to read both of these books! Most of these guys have done little or no talking about what happened to them before telling their story here. Most of them talk matter of fact, straight forward, no bull. No swagger. Just the facts. It was what it was. The fact that most of them were affected by agent Orange but not all have received the needed help is a travesty. Bill sent me advance copies to read for edits. I now even have my name in print in the book. I highly recommend these books as raw truth that will educate and entertain.
All books can be found on Amazon and are available in Paperback, Hardback, Audible, Kindle, and Kindle Unlimited formats. All of my thriller novels are available in English, German, Spanish, Italian and soon in French editions. However, my non-fiction Vietnam books are only available in English.
