I usually don’t put Burke’s War, Book #1 in the highly popular Bob Burke action adventure thriller series on sale, but I did today. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and finishing the final 4-5 chapters of what I think is a really good Bob Burke story. I hope you will too. When those are finished comes a whole bunch of editing, proofing, and post-production uploading work. Believe me, this e-book thing is nowhere near as easy as it looks! In Burke’s Revenge, Bob doesn’t run into trouble with the Chicago or New York mobs. Trouble comes looking for him in the form of a home-grown ISIS cell that has set up shop just down the road in Fayetteville North Carolina and Bob’s beloved Fort Bragg. As you can expect, that’s something no self-respecting Delta or the Merry Men of Sherwood Forest are going to put up with for very long.

Soon. Bob Burke is not appeared in the story yet. Chapter 1 in the first draft of every other chapter thereafter is the hardest to write. It deals with one of the bad guys. Take a look and let me know what you think.

As you may or may not be able to tell, I’ve also been making considerable “under the hood” changes to my website, with the help of the staff of Booknook.Biz, my text processors, advisers, magicians, and so many other things. I think we are about done now. Websites, like virtually all social media and promotional work can be big time eaters and distractions if you let them. Like proofreading and grammar, there’s no escaping them in this era of self-publishing.

I learned long ago, however, that the only real way to find more readers and sell more books is to write more books, which is why I’m grinding away on Burke’s Revenge.
