Burke’s Revenge:   4.6 Stars on 127 Amazon Reviews

Ginny Reader, Kindle Reviewer:  “5 Stars! Bob Burke is on the warpath against the “bad guys” once again. No obstacle is too great for Burke and his “Merry Men” as they are ensconced in their own Sherwood Forest. I can highly recommend this book. Be prepared to read it through-it’s not easy to set aside.”

Ron Paul, Amazon Reviewer:  “5 Stars! Mr. Brown continues to write winners with this latest installment of the Burke series. He seamlessly molds current events with the possible, leading to scenarios which could be real if current world affairs took a slightly different turn. It’s good reading, so pick up a copy and be prepared not to put it down.”

Michael Bon, Amazon Reviewer:  “5 Stars! If you like really good action this is the book for you. There are three books in this series, each stands alone well, but reading the first two books first gives the reader great insight into the characters in the books. A great story and never a dull moment. These books are very hard to put down once you start reading so you may lose a few hours of sleep like I have done.”

Don B  5.0 out of 5 stars Top of the line author, top of the line book

This is not Mr. Brown’s first book and as a result it is well polished, planned out well, and while I could go on and on, let’s just say it’s style fits in with the best writers out there. I loved it! But let me say this – for this to be of help you must know the likes of the reviewer. For instance, an avaid romance reader might not give a good review to a Navy seals type book etc. My review is based on my true love of high tech action with some or a lot of military type action. I do not like excessive foul language but can accept one or two triads from Navy Seals or Army Rangers when backed up to a snarling wall. I’ve been in the service and know that is a way to handle stress in those instances. This book has none of that yet the action is varied, fast paces and full of details. I tend to compare writers with the likes of; Clive Cussler, Dale Brown, Stephen Coonts, Larry Bond etc. If you have read any of them or are knowledgeable of their work you will understand when I say that this author stands shoulder to shoulder with them. and this is his latest and maybe best of the series – based on hoping he is not done yet. In addition, I hate it when my iPhone auto corrects to something other than what I put in there, and many books on the market seem to be using something like that to proof read their books and therefore contain a lot of errors. I just happen to know that Mr. Brown also uses the human eyes machine of a number of people to look over his books in an effort to catch those things before publishing.
In conclusion, if you are the type of reader even considering this book, DON’T! Just jump right in and get it. You won’t regret it!

Sam Wagner   5.0 out of 5 stars A turncoat and slippery college professor brings ISIS to the US and threatens the men, families and the home of US Special Ops    A page-turning insight into the vast funding and clever plots of extreme Muslim terrorists who need spectacular and devastating events to encourage recruits and funds. This time the target is, Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, striking at the heart of US Special Operations. However, as serious and devastating as the professor’s plans and actions are, his series of strikes is only a diversion. Evil reaches out to deliver a significant attack against a far more massive target with a huge potential to garner great support among the already fanatical supporters of ISIS and those still on the fence and it’s up to Bob Burke and those around him to get to the bottom of it all, force the issue and derail the diabolical effort. A fascinating tale of intrigue, deception, danger on the home front and edge-of-the-seat threats posed by fanatics and sympathizers already on US soil. Well worth the time.

Ginny Reader   5.0 out of 5 stars Very relevant, another great read!

From the time I finish one of Bill Brown’s books, I wait impatiently for the next one. This book was worth the wait.  Bob Burke is on the warpath against the “bad guys” once again. No obstacle is too great for Burke and his “Merry Men” as they are ensconced in their own Sherwood Forest. The description of Burke’s farm makes me want to visit.   The research is incredible on weapons, planes, military procedures and protocols. I love how the characters use their knowledge and skills to interact seamlessly to accomplish what they need to do. And you have to love a manly man who loves his wife so unabashedly. This same guy can effortlessly use weapons of any kind to get the job done. I can highly recommend this book. Be prepared to read it through-it’s not easy to set aside.

Kindle Reader    5.0 out of 5 stars A Real Seat Of Your Pants Ride

This is that kind of book that tells a story that should be prefixed with, ” You really shouldn’t poke that bear! ” kind of warning. Because that’s just what a few jihad-intent fools decided to do. They poked Bob Burke through his wife, Linda. Now it’s too late to say, “Oops, sorry!” This it’s another one of those stories that shows us that, “It ain’t bragging if you can do it.” And Bob Burke CAN do it! This installment features our humble hero as he strives to strike a balance between running Toler Electronics and his newest endeavor using crack computer hackers to relieve criminal enterprises of all their money, ill-gotten money, because they too “poked the bear.” Mr. Brown is fast becoming one of my favorite authors with his smoothly flowing style of writing with plots and subplots that kept me riveted to my seat and made time disappear. Each book, so far, has hit a new high and set a newer level of expectation. Mr. Brown does not disappoint.

Chicagokathy  5.0 out of 5 stars Burke is my hero!

Burke’s Revenge is a thrill -a-minute battle with ISIS coming to Burke’s Sherwood Forest home in NC. Trouble seems to find him no matter where he is but he’s prepared to join the fight with his friends. Black Ops all the way. His new wife is slowly starting to understand what his world is like. Having a 2-star general on his side who looks the other way and sends his own men to help Burke lets the reader know there are quite a few good guys still out there. Being a bit short of stature fools the bad guys every time. Burke is no one you want to underestimate or cross. This third installment of the Bob Burke series is a winner and must read for every William Brown fan.

The Dutchman    5.0 out of 5 stars A great contnuation in the series

Another masterpiece from William Brown. The main characters continue to develop in this installment. The author obviously has done extensive research in ‘hand-to-hand’ combat as well as researching well the dynamics at play in the Middle East. The author does not shy away from describing it as the quagmire and morass the region is. I would agree with a prior reviewer that William Brown is the Dale Brown and Stephen Coonts class of writers. This is a great next installment in the series and leaves me the same feeling of another reviewer—when will the next book be done ? The book has great plot twists and believable resolutions as to the various plots—no Hail Mary’s. It is credible, which I find refreshing.
I would highly recommend this book as a great read. It goes great with a Merlot in hand. I would also hope William Brown has started on the next book in the series by now…
